The following is a list of
the many different file types available depending on your design
needs. DPI stands for Dots per inch. DPI is how the image is
made up if viewed under a microscope. |

.tif
file (CMYK Color) 300 dpi high resolution.
The tif file is for printing on a lithographic
printing press. The CMYK color stands for the four colors that are
used in printing. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. This file
format is often requested by print shops. When you open this on your
PC at home what you see on your monitor will be different then the actual
colors. This is because you monitor and often you printer at home
use RGB color. RGB color stands for Red, Green & Blue.
Your monitor does not have the filters to read the CMYK colors
correctly.
Best used for: Professional printing
or Home or Office printing that supports CMYK color. |

.jpg
file (RGB Color) 150 - 300 dpi high
resolution.
The jpeg file is used for home printing in
applications like Word or Powerpoint. You need to import these
images into your document. The resolution of these files is usually
300 dpi which is usually sufficient for most things you will want to do
with this image.
Best used for: Home or Office
printing, Web Design, or Importing into Microsoft Office applications like
Word. |

.psd
file (RGB Color) 300 dpi high resolution.
This file format is used by professional designers
and is the file format of Adobe Photoshop.
Best used for: Home or Office
printing, Web Design, or Graphic Design (Requires Adobe Photoshop to open) |

.gif file
(RGB Color) 72 dpi
Gif files do not resize well. If you require
this type of file please let us know what size you need. Otherwise
if you try to resize it yourself the results will be very
poor.
Best used for: Web Design |

.png file
(RGB Color) 72 dpi
Png files are a web site file format. The
quality is usually high adn it resized much better than a gif file.
Mostly used for logo creation please specify if you need this
type.
